PPMC Travelogue Summer Break 2017 Competition

Assalamualaikum and Hello

PPMC is back again with Travelogue Summer Break 2017 Competition and this time, the theme is∼
'A Mind-Blowing Experience'!

What is a travelogue?
A travelogue is usually a single person’s account of a trip, journey or otherwise. Such writing is highly individualized, and is an experience of a journey seen through the eyes of the traveller. A travelogue needs a central idea, which will be the backbone of the log. Life lessons you’ve learned during the voyage, your reflections about the differences between the place where you live and the place you’ve visited, or at least some historic theme could serve as such a backbone. It can even include virtually anything encountered on a trip: what a person ate, what a person saw, conversations, or notable features of a culture.

We want you to pen down the best experience you’ve had during your trip, a mind-blowing one.
With a range of 300 - 500 words and 1-3 pictures, participants can write about any new experiences, thoughts, or lessons that they had learnt during their journey. It can be written in Malay or English. Pen name is allowed but we need to know your identity (for prize identification). In simple words, tell us about your adventure!

You can submit your work to ppmc2013@yahoo.ie . Only 1 submission can be made per person. The best 4 submissions will be published on this blog, and the best 2 of them will be picked as winners.  Each submission is professionally judged based on your creativity, quality and essence of your story. The more your writing stimulates others to think and reflect, the more marks you will get.

The deadline for this competition would be on 10th September 2017. Log your travels and good luck!
